SPORT HEAVEN!!!!!

So with the next few weeks being totally dominated by SPORT with the World Cup and the Formula 1 Grand Prix and now WIMBLEDON it made me think of stuff associated with sport..

Like the adverts for the World Cup say its Pizza and Adult lemonade!

Formula 1 has no food attached to it which is wierd but with Tennis it’s another easy one….Cordial Drink and Strawberrys and Cream!

Strange how we attach food with sport!?

I’m well excited about Wimbledon as i’ll just leave my TV on and channel hop ;0)I didn’t know it started in 1877  and 8/10 of us watch it, over a third of us take time off work to watch it !! Wowowaza
We all know Fred Perry was the last British player to win in 1936,  but this year we might even get to see a British winner in  Andy Murray .

Imagine that .. England win the World Cup and Andy Murray wins Wimbledon!! I’d take a bet now!!!

NO 1 – McEnroe  said “You cannot be serious”  ( IT HAD TO BE)

- It rained and Cliff Richard sang to the crowd!  (OMG…NOOOOO)
- McEnroe + Borg played a never-ending tie-break  (B4MYTIME:0)
- When Virginia Wade won the women’s title  (WHO!)
- When Tim Henman first reached the semi-finals  (CLOSE AS HE EVER GOT)

Shame theres no Serena thrashing everyone memories as that’s all I can remember from the last 10 years ;0)

UMBRO DAY @ WEMBLEY

Rickie and me got to play at Wembley on Saturday!! Quite simply #livinthedream

England Kit maker , Umbro invited us down for England Day so when we arrived at Wembley it was great to see Nicholas Hoult, Lee Ryan, Danny McFly, Lethal B, Maclean, Gordon Smart (Bizarre Column), Rik Edwards of T4 and Ralf Little amoungst others.

Celeb Football Team Photo!

We got asked to play in a select 11 for a charity football game! Check out Charlie on the end amoungst Gordan Ramsey and loads of others including Nigel Winterburn (Ex Arsenal) Alec Stewart (Ex-England Captain), Kit Symons (Ex Palace + Fulham) and Phil Greening (Rugby).

I actually ended up cracking a bone in my arm too! Only conceded one though as i went off we ended up losing 5-1 and Charlie scored our Penalty!!

Stress Stains!!!

You might have heard Charlie talking last week on the show about Stress + Stains!!

Well loads of you keep asking about it so heres the full details.
Washing detergent people, Ariel with Actilift commissioned the Stain + Shame Investigation – a study to find out our emotional responses to stains and how this affects us every day, from our careers to our love life.
We were actually quite surprised at how stressed out we’d all get when put in certain spillage situations..
We laughed at it at first but then realised this is serious!!

Stains proved to be really stressful – for women alone, stains proved to be most stress inducing out of all the scenarios!

Not only that, the investigation showed that 1 in 5 (21%) would ditch a job interview rather than turn up with a stain and over 1 in 10 would not want to see their date again if they had a stain and 13% would be disgusted!

So here we have the latest 500 Horsepower Porsche, 918 Spyder Hybrid.

Basically it runs on Battery’s aswell as fuel and can run up to 78 MPG!

Porsche also claims the Spyder can accelerate to 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds, max out at 198 MPH

Fairtrade Fortnight

So if like me you’re wondering what  is  Fairtrade Fortnight? Let me explain;

This year is themed about swapping your everyday goods for ‘Fairtrade Products’

Your usual bananas for Fairtrade bananas, your usual cotton socks for Fairtrade cotton socks, and your usual cuppa for a Fairtrade cup of tea or Coffee.

Whenever you pop to Sainsburys or Starbucks, you can use your wallet to make a stand. The Aim is to encourage swaps, One million and one in fact.

Every swap will be proof that the people of the UK want producers in the developing world to get a fairer deal.

We were joined by Some Walkers Baked Guys this morning and Charlie couldn’t wait to get her hands on them!

If your worried about the guys packet don’t be..He’s in a plastic suit made to make his body look good! Look out for the TV advert featuring Gary Lineker!!
